There Are At Least Two Bands Called The Young Savages. 1. The Young Savages Are A Fresh Young Addition To The Rockin' Scene Performing No-Holds-Barred 1950s Style Rockabilly. Their Début Album 'Untamed' Features Mostly Young Savages Originals Accompanied By Covers Of Larry Donn And Hank Penny. The Album Was Produced By Ian Speller Rusti Steel & The Tin Tax And Boz Boorer The Polecats Who Both Make Guest Appearances As Musicians. 2. The Young Savages Were An Early Dutch Rock 'n Roll Band Active In The Early 1960s. The Core Of The Band Were Four Rademaker Brothers Who Had Spent Their Childhood In Rotterdam But Later Settled In The Southern Small Town Of Best The Netherlands. The Rademaker Brothers Were Sam Lead Guitar Vocals David Rhythm Guitar Robert Rhythm Guitar And Izaak Bass . The Young Savages Released Three Singles In The Early And Mid-1960s The Most Succesful One Perhaps Being 'Sarinandé' B/w 'Bengawan Solo' 1965 . Due To The Indonesian Roots Of The Brothers They Were Considered Part Of The So-Called 'Indorock' Wave In Early Dutch Rock 'n Roll.
