Scott Helman Born October 1 1995 Is A Canadian Singer And Songwriter From Toronto Ontario.
His Music Has Been Described As Landing Somewhere Between Vance Joy And Jeff Buckley. At Age 15 He Signed A Development Agreement With Warner Music Canada Where He Began Writing Sessions With Writers Such As Simon Wilcox And Thomas "Tawgs" Salter. He Released His Debut EP Augusta On October 14 2014 At Warner Music Canada. Bungalow The First Single From Augusta Quickly Became Popular And Reached #25 On The Billboard Canadian Digital Song Sales Chart. Scott Toured The US And Europe With Fellow Canadian Band Walk Off The Earth In 2015. He Won Several Awards Even Before His First Album Was Released. In May 2017 Scott Helman Finally Released His First Album Hôtel De Ville. The Album Contains 12 Songs From The Up-Tempo Hit Single PDA To Acoustic Songs Such As House Key Ripple Effect And Machine. In 2018 The Singer Released A Second EP Hang Ups. The EP Clearly Shows The Singer Going Into A Different Direction From Indie-Pop Songs With Folk Influences To A More Electronical Yet Still Indie Sound. Everything Sucks Was Released In September 2019. The Song Follows The Sound Of The Previously Released Hang Ups EP. Nearly 1 Year After The Release Of Everything Sucks Helman Announced A New Album Nonsuch Park Sa .
